Bad Man Training – The Challenge

We’ve been challenged..

Starting March 17th, Bad Man Training will “officially” be back. And it will be back with vengeance.  If you’re looking to get shredded for the summer, this class is IT.

Monday 8pm – Metabolic Mayhem

60 minutes of total body conditioning – tire flips, sledgehammer swings, farmer’s walks, battling ropes, box jumps, med ball slams, kettlebell swings, log cleans, and more. It’s the perfect blend of Crossfit, strongman training, and HIIT. And to top it off, the gauntlet (otherwise known as the center circle) will be barbell complexes. Doesn’t that sound just delicious?

Wednesday 8pm – The Challenge

60 minutes of upper body conditioning and core work – battling ropes, pushups, chins, and every ab exercise you can think of. And to top it off, the gauntlet will be 225lb deadlifts for males and 135lb deadlifts for females (aka the challenge).

And the challenge is….

1500 deadlifts in 60 minutes. As a team, we have 3600 seconds (that’s a deadlift  every 2 seconds) to deadlift 225lbs (135lbs for women) 1,500 times. One barbell will be loaded in the center of the class (aka the gauntlet). Only one team member can be in the gauntlet at a time. When he (or she) finishes his reps, he raises his hand and tags in the next team member, just like in the WWE. And to make it even more awesome, you can even dress up as your favorite WWE current or former wrestler.  We’ll have a marker board on the wall to keep track of reps.

Every Wednesday we will attempt the challenge.

If you do not want to deadlift, you do NOT have to. You can still participate in the circuit that goes on around the perimeter of the gauntlet. If our team wins the challenge, you will still get a free t-shirt.

The prize…

A free t-shirt for all team members. To be considered on the team, you must attend 50% of the classes.
