New Badges in 2019

2018 was the year of the Ageless’ badges. What we thought would be a nice, little challenge to help you keep that small flame of motivation going, even when it looked like it was all but done, ended up lighting a fire in a lot of you.

Some of you lifted a ridiculous amount of weight and earned an Ageless Strength badge. Others ran in more races in a year than most do in a lifetime and earned a Road Runner Badge. And then there were those of you than burned so many calories in 2018 that you almost broke the MyZone heart rate monitor.

So, let’s raise one together, and congratulate you on absolutely, positively, without any doubt slaying 2018. Well done.

Before we start thinking about 2019, we have two quick announcements about the 2018 badges:

1 – For those badges that don’t end until December 31st at 11:59pm, we will tally the final numbers and have your prizes to you by the 2nd week of January. If you don’t hear from us by January 7th, please message us.

For those of you that conquered a badge but did not receive your prize, please contact us as soon as possible so you can pick up your prize.

2 – At Ageless, we don’t believe in resting on our past successes. No matter our age, no matter what we’ve accomplished, and no matter how close we think we are to our limits, we can always grow. We can always accomplish more. So, every badge earned in 2018 will be completely wiped from the record books. If you hit the Platinum Strength badge in 2018, you’ll have to do it again in 2019 to get your name back on the board. Of course, that also means you’ll be rewarded with another prize too.

New Badges in 2019

We have two new badges added for 2019, we’ve bumped up the prizes for a few of our old badges, and we’re adding a goal board.

The two new badges are:

1. The Ironman Badge
Without consistency, there are no results. You can’t argue with that. But, there are days when the motivation to maintain consistency is lacking. You need that extra push. That push comes in the form of our Ironman badge. Swipe your key tag at the computer by the front desk before every workout, and the more often you hit the gym, the more prizes you’ll earn.

Levels:
Bronze – 104 Workouts (2 weekly for 52 weeks)
Silver – 156 Workouts (3 weekly for 52 weeks)
Gold – 208 Workouts (4 weekly for 52 weeks)
Platinum – 260 Workouts (5 Weekly for 52 weeks)
Ironman – 312 workouts (6 weekly for 52 weeks

Prizes:
Bronze – Ageless water bottle
Silver – Ageless towel
Gold – Ageless t-Tshirt
Platinum – Ageless hoody
Ironman – A treadmill named after you

2. The Paperboy Badge

Gold – Ageless T-shirt
Silver – Ageless Towel
Bronze – Ageless Water Bottle

A New Goal Board

In addition to the badges, we have a handful of members with specific goals for 2019. Some are competing in bodybuilding contests. Others are fighting for a powerlifting championship. While some, like myself, are just challenging themselves to do something outside of their comfort zone in 2019 (like say run in an obstacle race every 3 months). Maybe you just want to run a mile without walking. It doesn’t matter how big or small the goal, as long as it’s specific and unique to your aspirations, we want to see it on the goal board.

But, why put it on the goal board?

Because it’s a psychological catapult for reaching your goals.

1. Goals that are written down are more likely to be accomplished.

2. Goals that are made public are more likely to be accomplished.

3. Goals that you’re constantly reminded about are more likely to be accomplished.

Our goal board does all 3.

So, if you have a specific goal for 2019, write it down on our goal board and sign your name. If you accomplish it, you may just receive a congratulation t-shirt from Ageless.

Here’s to a record-breaking 2019!
