Thank you for joining us at our third annual 2019 Ageless Firecracker Run!
Registration for next year’s event scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2020, will open in January.
THANK YOU to everyone who came out on July 5 and participated in our 3rd annual Firecracker Run! This year was our biggest event to date with 91 participants running either the 1-mile, 5k, 10k or virtually.
Staunton CUSD No. 6 will be receiving over $2500 with this year’s record participation marking our third year donating to the school district and increasing our overall total to nearly $6500 after just three short years of Ageless hosting the Firecracker Run.

Red, white, and boom! Put on your patriotic pants and run with us on Friday, July 5 at 7pm for America’s birthday at our 3rd annual Firecracker run. This family-friendly event starts and finishes at Ageless-Staunton (1505 Route 4, Staunton) and includes concession vendors, a photo booth, and music.
Choose between the kids 1-mile run, 5k run or 10k run (new) and pick your own swag package (new) ranging between $20 and $50. All participants will start at the same time on the moderately flat course while 5k and 10k participants will receive chipped timing.
Can’t join us on race day? Participate anywhere and anytime by being a virtual runner. Receive the same swag and complete the distance on your own. Choose virtual runner as your race when signing-up and we will ship you your swag free of charge.
Prizes will be awarded to the largest team, top male and female 5k finishers, and top male and female 10k finishers. Results for the 5k and 10k race will be posted after the race along with event photos.
Event timeline:
- July 3 | 3-7pm – Early packet pickup at Ageless-Staunton
- July 5 | 6-7pm – Registration and pickup at Ageless-Staunton
- July 5 | 7:00pm – 1-mile, 5k and 10k run/walks begin
- July 5 | 8:30pm – Winners announced
Swag: Participants have the option to pick your swag this year!
- $20 package: Race entry, chipped time, unisex event t-shirt
- $35 package: Race entry, chipped time, unisex event t-shirt, and water bottle
- $50 package: Race entry, chipped time, uni-sex event t-shirt, water bottle, and performance material 1/4 zip pullover

Sponsors: Your sponsorship dollars provide you with increased brand visibility while making a direct and meaningful impact in the lives of many in the Staunton area. In two short years, we have donated nearly $4,000 to the Staunton School District. By sponsoring the Firecracker run, you are recognized on the sign-up webpage, mentioned on our social media platforms, included on the back of the event t-shirts, included on event signage, and mentioned before the race start by the announcer.

Event policies:
- No refunds for the event.
- Entries are transferable to another participant before June 21, 2019.
- Dogs are not allowed to participate.
- Strollers are welcome, we ask that you start toward the back of the field.
