We’ve been open for almost a month now, and to say things have gone smoothly would be a lie. But honestly, do things ever really go as planned, especially when starting a new adventure?
Even with everything that’s gone wrong, we’ve had a tremendous amount of support from the Staunton community. With the holidays and weather, we really didn’t expect much until after January. In fact, we were really just using December as a “soft” opening so that we could work out the kinks before the busy months. However, all of our expectations have been exceeded, and unfortunately, a lot of you had to experience the kinks. Yet, you still smiled through the problems and joined anyways. Thank you!
We will promise you this. Just like Ageless in Gillespie, every single penny that’s made at Ageless Squared will be reinvested into the gym and the community. We’ve already ordered more equipment (benches, leg curl machine, leg extension machine, cable crossover, dumbbells, etc), and will continue to order more equipment until we’re satisfied. We will grow month by month. What you see now is just a faint image of what this gym will look like in 12, 24, and 36 months. Ageless went from a small 2,500 square foot gym to a 6,000+ square foot gym in 3 years. We expect the same with Ageless Squared. So again, THANK YOU!
The Team
You can’t become part of our family if you aren’t familiar with the faces you’ll see at the gym.
Corrie Rizzi – Gym Manager and Class Instructor
We knew the success of Ageless in Gillespie was in large part due to Pete. Thus, we knew we had to find our “Pete” in Staunton. Corrie was everything we were looking for – enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, empathetic, and conveniently, crazy for fitness. An avid runner and former soccer standout, Corrie was a perfect fit for our family. Plus, her husband looks like Zeus. How could we possibly say no?
Most importantly though, Corrie is a hometown kid. She grew up in Gillespie, fell in love with a bulldog, and is currently raising a family in Staunton. In towns like Gillespie and Staunton, community is really just another word for extended family. The entire town watches you grow up, and in turn, you end up having several adopted uncles, aunts, grandma’s, and grandpa’s. That’s the true, simple beauty of small town life. And because of that, we all develop this deep sense of love and commitment for our community. Corrie understand this.

Class Schedule
Just like with the equipment, we will continue to reinvest every single penny of our profit into new class ideas. We’re constantly attending seminars, purchasing DVD’s/books, and communicating with gyms across the U.S. to see what the latest and greatest trends are. We have several new ones planned for 2014, and will probably have several more in the works by the middle of 2014!
We’ll also have our first contest at A2 in January. You can see a list of our previous contests by clicking here.
