Like 99.9% of small businesses, COVID has not been kind to us. It’s easily been the biggest battle we’ve faced over our decade-long tenure. And like any challenge, it’s forced us to adapt and become stronger.
We’ve had to remove a few services, cancel/put on hold a handful of future plans, and weed out any inefficiencies in our systems. Unfortunately, we’re also going to have to change a few things that may affect you in 2021.
Price Changes
Starting January 1st, Ageless will only offer 3 membership options:
- Single month – $35/mo
- Recurring monthly membership – $25/mo
- Family membership of four – $75/mo
Essentially, we’re removing all of our “special” categories of memberships. So, there will no longer be an over 65 membership, under 24 membership, military/police/ems membership, or a buddy membership.
You will only have two options:
Option 1
The single-month membership ($35/mo) is classified as any membership that isn’t paid in full upfront for at least 6 months nor does it have a payment on file at the gym that is charged on a monthly basis. Our old price for this membership was $39 per month.
Option 2
A recurring monthly membership ($25/mo) is classified as any membership that is automatically charged with a payment on file at the gym on a monthly recurring basis, or a membership that is paid in full upfront for at least 6 months. This membership can be canceled at any time with a 3-day written notice. We have removed the early cancellation fee. So, as long as you have an active payment on file and agree to it being billed monthly, the membership can be 2 months, 6 months, or even 24+ months at $25/mo.
For 95% of our members, you’ll see a drop in your monthly membership price. Unfortunately, for some of you, there will be a slight increase in price.
If your membership will be cheaper in 2021, you will not have to do anything. We will update all autopays beginning January 1st. If your membership increases in 2021 and you do not want to renew, please contact us prior to your renewal date, and we will cancel it.
24/7 Access Changes
In addition to the membership changes, we also will be changing 24/7 access to the gyms. Starting on January 1st, if you have a 24/7 keycard, your card will only work at your home gym or the gym where you pay your membership. If you would like 24/7 access to the second Ageless location, you will need to add the $10/month all-access pass.
Please note that you will still be able to use the second Ageless location during staffed hours and attend all classes at the second location for free. This will only affect 24/7 access.
If you would like to change your home gym, please contact us before December 30th so update your account and avoid an inconvenience for you. If you don’t know what gym is considered your home gym, please contact us, and we can let you know. If you would like 24/7 access to both gyms, please contact us, and we’ll get the second location added to your membership.
