The brain trust was at it again during our May meeting. Several new ideas were hatched for the summer to keep things interesting, fun, and exciting.
Before we get into those, here’s what is not changing:
- All morning bootcamps (5am M,W,F, and 9am M,W and 8am Sa), spinning classes (8am T, Th), and yoga (8am M) are staying the same.
- Cardio boxing is still on Monday nights at 6:30pm
- Svelte Kettlebells and Core is still on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
- GluteCamp withOUT spin is still on Thursdays at 6:30pm.
And the changes…
Wednesday Night Madness
- We’re adding a 30 minute step class on Wednesday at 6pm taught by Amy. If you’ve never tried or even heard of a step class, you will love it. It is a FANTASTIC fat loss workout, and an even a better workout to tone the legs. Best of all, it doesn’t matter what fitness level you are at, you will be able to do it.
- After the step class, we’re going to have a 45 minute GloKick class from 6:30-7:15pm.
- From 7:15-8pm, Bad Man Training is back in Gillespie. Ladies, just because it’s called Bad Man doesn’t mean you can’t join in on the fun. This is an advanced class. We will be deadlifting, squatting, pushing sleds, flipping tires, performing chin-ups, floor pressing, and sprinting at the track. Fair warning – there will be loud music, and possibly shirtless males. Hopefully we’ll be able to perform half the class indoors, and the remaining part outdoors.
Spin on Mondays
- Reggie will be offering a 30 minute “climb” spin class on Monday evenings. It will be either 5:30pm or 7:30pm. Which do you prefer?
