“Stress Relief” Season 5, Episodes 14 and 15
Possibly the greatest two-part episode in television history, narrowly defeating Seinfeld’s “Soup Nazi” and Friends’ “Couch Pivot.”
So, why this episode?
- Obviously, Dwight’s coworkers weren’t ready for a fire, and when smoke first appeared, all hell broke loose. You’ll tend to want to “break loose” during the first mile. Don’t, or else you can expect broken copiers, holes in the ceiling, and cracked windows. Instead, pace yourself, and remain cool, calm, and collected.
- As shown during the staff’s CPR training, there’s a rhythm to the compressions during CPR. Although “Stayin Alive” won’t help you, you’ll need to find a rhythm to your deadlifts. Any sets beyond 12 reps require one. If you don’t find it, you’ll struggle to get 60 reps in time.
Please take heed of my advice (inside joke).
The Challenge:
- 1 Mile Run
- 60 pushups
- 60 deadlifts with your body weight on the bar
