If there is one exercise that you will LOVE to hate, it will be the hip thrust. There is not an exercise on the planet that attacks the glutes like the hip thrust. After 4-5 repetitions, your glutes will be on fire. By the 8th or 9th repetition, they will literally be cramping. Why should you put yourself through that kind of torture? Because the hip thrust alone can change the way you look in jeans after just a few weeks. It is the king of butt exercises. The pain is definitely worth the gain!

And if you’re an athlete, you should be just as excited to add the hip thrust to your program. If you’re looking to increase your speed, jumping ability, or just overall power, the hip thrust is your answer. Strong, powerful glutes = athletic success.
