Ageless is holding its first ever “Firecracker 5K and 1-mile fun run” to offer the community an opportunity to get outdoors and exercise for Staunton CUSD #6 Athletics.
The event will take place on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Ageless-Staunton located at 1505 Route 4, Staunton and is projected to be a fun and enjoyable family affair. Runners and walkers will enjoy the moderately challenging 5K course or easier 1-mile course.
The race will start promptly at 8 p.m. from Ageless and take participants through a mostly flat and fast course through the Staunton community. Race check-in will start at 7 p.m. on July 14. Early registration cost is $20 while registration after July 8 is $25. Every paid participant is guaranteed an event shirt. Participants can register by filling out a race form and paying with a check at either Ageless location or paying online through Ageless-Staunton’s Facebook page.
Prizes will be given to the top male and female finisher as well as the largest participating team. Sponsorships are available with sponsors being recognized on the event shirt and on event signage.
