The Killer Crossover Camp Part Deux – Starts April 7th

killer crossover camp

It’s baaaaaack for round 2!  Over 40 kids participated in round1…

The Killer Crossover Camp will resume this April under the direction of Evan Price, the hardest working high school basketball player I know.

Most high school kids have part-time jobs. Some work in the fast food industry. Others work on their family’s farm. Not surprisingly, Evan’s job involves basketball, his passion.

Why he’s the perfect mentor

He’s not tall. He’s not super fast. He’s not strong. He can’t jump out of the gym. He’s not a natural shooter. His feet are slow. He lacks first step quickness. When God was handing out athleticism, Evan got the leftovers. At best, he’s average.

That is until he steps onto the court. When he’s on the hardwood, he’s one of the best in the area. Just ask an opposing coach.  How? How does a kid with not one speck of natural athleticism become one of the best in the area?

Hard work, an enthusiasm for his craft, and a complete disregard for failure. That’s how. Oh, and of course, thousands of repetitions.

That’s what your child is going to be exposed to. Forget about innate talent and natural gifts. Success has little to do with DNA, and everything to do with blood, sweat, and tears. It’s created by calluses, not wishes. Most importantly, it’s earned, not given. Just ask Evan…

What you can expect

Over the course of the 60 minute workout, Evan will be using the same crossover drills we’ve been using at 4th Quarter over the last 4 years.  It will be 60 nonstop minutes of dribbling action – a relentless pursuit of perfecting the most dangerous move in basketball, the crossover.
